Romantic agriturismo with views of San Gimignano
As a result of increasing demand, I went looking for a small agriturismo near San Gimignano. And this attractive wine farm jumped right at me! Beautifully situated among the vineyards, and from the terrace where breakfast is served and from the garden, you have views of the medieval towers of the city.
The agriturismo belongs to a young couple and hospitality is paramount. The wife is mainly concerned with making wine and her husband with the maintenance of the property and with the guests. He is a former gardener at some prominent villas in Florence and the garden of the agriturismo looks picture perfect. In the wine cellar they give tours and they have a welcoming room for tastings. Almost every day people come for wine tastings, often in combination with a light lunch, and guests of the agriturismo are happily invited. On request Susanna also gives cooking classes, for example making fresh ravioli.
In 15 minutes you can walk via an ancient path from the agriturismo to San Gimignano.
Rooms & Apartments
The agriturismo has a total of 4 double rooms and 5 apartments. The rooms, all located on the first floor, are tastefully decorated with fine fabrics and materials. On the ground floor is a shared living room and a breakfast room. In fine weather, breakfast is served outside on the terrace.
The property has four comfortable apartments for 2 to 4 people. Two apartments are in an independent cottage in the beautiful garden. Each apartment has a private terrace with pergola and beautiful views over the hills and vineyards.
