Luxury agriturismo in Piedmont ideal for wine and food lovers
This is an agriturismo as an agriturismo should be in Piedmont. Fine wines and delicious local cuisine combined with nice rooms, situated among the vineyards with beautiful views. I did not know this part of Piedmont so well and the beautiful vineyards skirting the many winding roads came as a lovely surprise.
Some years ago the owners bought this old farm and decided to make their own wines. Among their delicious products, it’s the rosé spumante that is my personal favourite. The historic old house has been beautifully renovated to offer modern comfortable rooms and apartments but successfully retaining many original details.
Just over half an hour from the agriturismo you're in the lovely town of Asti and an hour's drive will bring you to Alba. About an hour's drive north of the agriturismo lie Lago Maggiore and Lago d’Orta. The nearest village is located approximately 4 km from the property.
Rooms & Apartments
The agriturismo has a total of six rooms, a studio apartment and one single-bedroom apartment. These are equipped with TV, wi-fi, heating and LED lighting and are beautifully decorated in country chic style with vintage furniture and painted ceilings. The solar panels provide the agriturismo with hot water and energy (without in any way affecting guests’ comfort!). An ingenious water system therefore ensures warm rooms in winter and cooler rooms in summer.
Panoramic pool & restaurant
You can relax on the large covered patio in the courtyard and in the garden there is a beautiful panoramic pool with stunning views over the hills and vineyards. The restaurant has a modern menu where traditional Piedmontese flavours are combined with modern and creative recipes. In the summer you can dine outside on the terrace and in the restaurant you can watch the chef at work in the completely open kitchen.
In short
A surprising agriturismo with fine wines and delicious cuisine, comfortable rooms and prettily situated among the vineyards!
