Agriturismo between the vineyards of Piedmont
This agriturismo with modern and comfortable apartments is beautifully situated between the vineyards of Piedmont. This region is in Italy and abroad known for its good wines and excellent cuisine. Therefor tourists from all over the world come to Piedmont to enjoy the Barolo, Barbera and Barbaresco wines, and of course the famous white truffle. The agriturismo is situated only 10 minutes drive from the charming town of Asti and 20 minutes from the quaint town of Alba. The village of Bra, the traditional home of the Slow Food movement, is half an hour away. Turin, the beautiful capital of Piedmont can be reached in an hour.
Just a few kilometers from the agriturismo you can find a large supermarket. At the restaurant of the nearby agriturismo 69 (750 m from the apartments, within walking distance) you can have breakfast or enjoy a delicious dinner by reservation and for a fee. The owner also gladly gives you advice about the many trattoria's, pizzeria's and enoteca's (wine bars) in the area. For golf lovers there are two beautiful golf courses within half an hour drive from the agriturismo.
Wine
The passionate owner went back to school for three years and now, at 70 years old, he is the oldest new sommelier of Italy. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with his guests and on request he loves to organize a wine course "from the ground to the glass" in the modern, newly built wine cellar of the farm. They mainly produce Barbera and Chardonnay and of course you can taste all of them.
Apartments & pool
In total, the agriturismo has four comfortable apartments with modern and well-equipped kitchen, good sofa and satellite TV. The three apartments on the first floor all have a very large terrace with breathtaking views over the hills and vineyards and the snowy peaks of the Alps in the distance. The apartment on the ground floor has a piece of private garden.
And from the panoramic swimming pool with sun beds and parasols you have the same beautiful view.
In short
In Piedmont, there are only a few agriturismo's with comfortable apartments and swimming pool, but this is definitely one! Ideal for lovers of peace, enjoyable small villages, good food and of course good wine.
