Child-friendly residence nearby Pisa, Lucca and the Tuscan beaches

This beautiful rural residence, which has been divided into 10 apartments, is situated on the edge of an extensive nature park, but also close to Lucca, Pisa, and the beach. The residence was originally a fortress, built in 1500, which has recently been carefully transformed into beautiful and comfortable holiday accommodation. Even though it is only 9 km from Pisa, it is lovely and tranquil here. The sophisticated coastal resort Forte dei Marmi is 30 km away, and the historical city Lucca just over 20 km away The beach is about 8 km from the residence.

I was friendly welcomed and proudly they showed me around the garden, the apartments, and the villa. The garden of the residence has a large swimming pool with sun terrace, offering splendid views over fields with the Tuscan hills in the background. The swimming pool has descending steps, making it easy for children to get in and out of the water. There are three shared stone barbecues, bicycles, and a fun playground. Restaurants and shops are well represented in the surrounding area. The receptionist is happy to advise you on where to eat!

Apartments, rooms and villa

The residence has 10 comfortable modern apartments, with all amenities. Every apartment has a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and oven. Also present in all apartments: underfloor heating and airco, satellite TV, wifi and a hairdryer. The ground floor apartments have their own garden with seating area near the apartment. Guests of the first-floor apartments just need to go downstairs to get to the garden, where they also have an independent seating area. The residence furthermore has a room suited for 2 people, and a suite consisting of two linked double-rooms. These rooms are in the separate building, above the breakfast room, and have their own shared garden. Last but not least, there is a splendid detached villa, that can accommodate 6 to 10 people, and has its own large private garden and private barbecue. The villa has a living area with two sofa beds, a kitchen with dishwasher, three double bedrooms and three bathrooms. Just like the apartments, the villa has wifi and floor airco.
