Cosy agriturismo near an authentic village in le Marche

When I drove up the small country road and saw the restored farmhouse, with its distinctive blue shutters, I was sold. Add to that the hospitality of the owners and you have an agriturismo that certainly meets the criteria to be included on my website.

The agriturismo is situated in the hills, full of poppies and wildflowers, on the edge of an authentic little village in the Marche. The old farmhouse has been renovated with care and tastefully decorated. They have a large vegetable garden for fruit and vegetables and when I was there Tiziana was making cherry jam in the kitchen: she is often to be found in the kitchen garden!

It’s about one kilometre to the nearest village, and 3 kilometres to a   somewhat larger village.. There are numerous lovely places In the area  to visit, including the charming towns of Urbino and Urbania (on UNESCO’s World Heritage list); In less than half an hour you are at the beach (about 20 km), for example, the long sandy beaches at Senigallia.

The apartments

There are two large apartments in the old farmhouse, one with 2 bedrooms and one with 4 bedrooms. In addition there are two small cottages for 2 people, one with a jacuzzi on the terrace. All apartments have air conditioning and wifi.

The pool was still under construction when I was there, but is now up and running: a lovely pool. Each apartment has its own pergola with sun beds by the pool.

Welcoming and characteristic agriturismo with friendly owners. Located in the hills of the Marche in less than half an hour’s drive from the Adriatic coast.
